The Carolina Tech Engineers beat the Univ. of the Bayou Crocs, 10-6, at Wings Stadium. The Engineers got a fine performance from designated hitter Ahmed Wilson, who was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs, a double, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Montae Mondello, who went 6 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 1 run on 5 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 5. His record now stands at 1-5. The win puts Carolina Tech at 11-39.

In the first inning, Wilson had a solo home run for Carolina Tech. It was his 13th home run of the season and put the Engineers on top, 1-0.
