Losing Trend Continues for Pacific Northwest Univ.

The umbrellas came out during the Northern California-Pacific Northwest Univ. contest at Trappers Stadium.
David Fallis, who is tied for 7th in the in strikeouts with 93, had a strong outing for the Northern California Redwoods against the Pacific Northwest Univ. Voyaguers at Trappers Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 6-3 win. The winner was Fallis. He threw 6.1 innings of 2-hit ball. The loser was Kevin Woolcock.
Dan McCauley had a big 2-run home run for the Redwoods in the top of the sixth inning. With Northern California leading 2-1 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a fastball from Kevin Woolcock, who is tied for 10th in the in innings pitched with 85.1, and punished it. The result was his 20th home run of the season, which put the Redwoods on top, 4-1.
"This losing streak feels like riding on a runaway train," said Pacific Northwest Univ. manager L.B. Sparrow.
The misery never ends for the Voyaguers, who've lost 12 in a row.
