The Los Angeles (DSL) Dodgers Robinson catcher tore up the New York A (DSL) Yankees 1 to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at New York Yankees Complex. The offensive onslaught from Velez powered the 16-4 Dodgers Robinson win. "Velez was a tough out," New York A (DSL) manager Matt Johnson said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure."
