Mesa Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Thursday, June 29th , 2045 Braves center fielder Ezequiel Mesa has extended his hitting streak to 20 games. He went 2-for-5 in today's game against the Cincinnati (DSL) Reds. Atlanta (DSL) won the ballgame, 5-1. "Got a hit and a win," he said later. "OK, I'll take it." Ezequiel Mesa flied out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI triple in the 9th. Looking at his present stats, Mesa has compiled a .410 batting average in 21 games with a .462 on-base percentage, while hitting no home runs and driving in 7 runs. |
