Seattle (DSL) won the final game by a 7-3 count at Las Palmas Complex and the series 4-2. San Diego (DSL) manager Keyter Collado was simple and to-the-point in his assessment of the series. "They were the better team and deserve to move on," he said. For the series, Nichols hit .500 with a .536 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 5 runs. The Seattle (DSL) Mariners will play against the Philadelphia (DSL) Phillies White in the next round. Philadelphia (DSL) won their series against the Colorado (DSL) Rockies 2 4 games to 0.
