The right-hander spun a complete game shutout against the Coyotes, striking out 13 and surrendering 6 hits. The performance from Richards allowed Boston (AZL) to escape with the 2-0 win, despite an anemic offense. "Nobody came to me and said, 'Jamal, we're gonna need you to win this one for us today,' but I could feel it," Richards told BNN reporters following the win.
