Season-Ending Injury for Phil Peterson Tuesday, August 11th , 2043 When Phil Peterson was hurt against the Seattle (AZL) Mariners, the San Diego (AZL) Padres 1 were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 19-year-old starting pitcher suffered shoulder inflammation throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Peterson would miss 4-5 months of the season. To this point in the season Peterson has 3 wins and 3 losses and a 2.12 ERA. |
