Rome Downs Las Vegas as Snow Tosses 1-0 Shutout Tuesday, June 7th , 2044 Tim Snow was throwing strikes early and getting ahead in the count, his manager said after the Rome Braves hurler tossed a 8-hit, complete game shutout against the Las Vegas Silver Wolves. "I went right after each hitter, trying to get ahead in the count," said Snow. "I wanted them to swing the bats and keep my pitch count down. It worked. I felt strong the whole game, even in the last two innings." Snow walked 0 and struck out 7 in the 1-0 victory. This year, Snow has compiled a 2-1 record with a 2.80 ERA. View Boxscore |
