JetHawks Eddie Carpenter Wins CAL Award Monday, July 10th , 2045 Lancaster JetHawks right fielder Eddie Carpenter had a great time at the plate last week, running up some sensational numbers that no one else could match. Few people were surprised today when the California League named him Player of the Week. Carpenter banged out 17 hits in 26 at-bats on the way to a .654 batting average. He also racked up 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and 8 runs scored. So far on the season, Carpenter is hitting .309 with 10 home runs, 50 RBIs and 45 runs scored. He has 89 hits and played in 75 games. |
