New Hampshire won the series 3-1, capturing the title for the 2nd time. "We stepped it up at the right time, and now we're the champs," said New Hampshire manager Renan Sato. "It's a great feeling." The champs finished the regular season 97-43 and claimed first place in the Eastern Division. In the jubilant clubhouse after the decisive game, series MVP and center fielder Chris Daniels said the Fisher Cats have "great fans and they deserve this."
