Toledo Takes Round 1 in Deciding Game Tuesday, September 19th , 2045 It was a rousing finish to the Round 1 at Coca-Cola Park today. The Toledo Mud Hens sent the Lehigh Valley IronPigs home for the season with a 4-2 win in the decisive game of the series. The Mud Hens took the series 3-2. Up next on their schedule is the Round 2. Hauling in the MVP trophy was Toledo left fielder Bob Appleby. His numbers included a .647 batting average, 7 RBIs and 6 runs. "With any luck, I'll be hoisting another one of these at the end of the Round 2," he said. The Toledo Mud Hens will play against the Memphis Gales in the next round.
