Toledo Celebrates Wild Card Win Tuesday, September 12th , 2045 As the clock struck midnight in the Toledo Mud Hens clubhouse, the celebration showed no signs of slowing down. The Mud Hens were certainly ready to celebrate their International League wild card berth. "It's time to let off a little steam after a grind of a season," said starting pitcher Ricky Havel. "We may act a bit like teenagers tonight celebrating, but we'll be back to being big leaguers tomorrow." With a 79-62 record, Toledo will be seeking its 4th International League championship. |
