IL Top Pitcher Award for July to Dillion Saturday, August 1st , 2043 The International League made it official today -- Mike Dillion of the Toledo Mud Hens is the Pitcher of the Month. In July he impressed the sportswriters with his domination of league hitters. Dillion made 6 starts, registered 5 wins and no losses with a solid 1.76 ERA. In 41 innings he allowed 31 hits, racked up 36 strikeouts, walked 8 and permitted teams to hit .209 against him. In 15 starts this year, Dillion has fashioned a 8-3 record and a 3.24 ERA. |
