Oakland Captures American League West Division Crown Wednesday, September 21st , 2044 There's still a ways to go before the Major League Baseball regular season wraps up, but there won't be any drama in the American League West Division. The Oakland Athletics have easily clinched the division crown, their 35th as a franchise. "We did what we set out to do, you can't ask for any more than that," said center fielder Jeremy Gloor. Team manager Professor Chaos said it's "been a pleasure" to lead his club thus far this year and he is looking forward to the postseason, where Oakland will be looking for its 10th Major League Baseball championship. |
