July's Best Newcomer Named by AL Saturday, August 1st , 2043 Ron Costello's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Cleveland left fielder has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In July he was voted the Rookie of the Month. During the month he hit .359 with 4 doubles, no triples and 11 home runs. Costello also scored 18 times and drove in 27 runs. This year, Costello has 14 home runs and a .340 batting average. |
