More Injury Problems for Seattle's Tony Leal Tuesday, June 27th , 2045 The Seattle Mariners trainer was the bearer of bad news today, as it was learned Tony Leal's injury will keep him out of the lineup for longer than expected. The Mariners second baseman is being treated for a strained oblique. During a routine exam, Leal's condition was found to be worse than originally diagnosed and he is now expected to rehab at least another one week. At the moment, Leal is batting .266 with 14 home runs and 32 RBIs. He has played in 64 games and scored 45 times. |
