Setback for Rays and Marvin Moore Saturday, September 3rd , 2044 Just when it looked like Marvin Moore would soon return to the Santo Domingo Rays, the first baseman suffered yet another setback in his recovery from a fractured wrist. According to his doctors, treatment was progressing well until yesterday, when Moore experienced quite a bit of pain during a workout. Further examination revealed he had caused more damage and would now be out of action for at least 2-3 months. Marvin Moore is expected to undergo surgery in Santo Domingo(Distrito Nacional) tomorrow. So far this year, Moore has hit .286 with no home runs, 3 RBIs and 0 runs scored. |
