Froemke Lifts Outlaws to 8-5 Win
The Las Vegas Outlaws beat the Charlotte Flight, 8-5, at The Big House that Riggle Built. The win was due in part to designated hitter Joel Froemke, who was 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Picking up the win was Joel Hughes. He went 5.1 innings, allowing 1 run on 3 hits. The right--hander struck out 4 and walked 1. Jeff Albee got credit for the save for Las Vegas. It was his 4th of the year.

With Las Vegas leading 2-0 in the top of the second, Froemke hit a slider from Joel Johnson for a grand slam home run. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Outlaws ahead, 6-0.

"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Froemke.

Charlotte falls to 14-12.
