Spirited fans greeted the San Francisco Giants for their clash with the Colorado Rockies.
The Colorado Rockies knocked off the San Francisco Giants, 6-0, in National League action at Oracle Park. Colorado pitcher and MaturĂn, Venezuela, native Victor Nieves had an outstanding performance. Now 15-4, the 2044 Rockies have been phenomenal so far.
The Rockies had to work out of trouble in the bottom of the seventh. The score was 6-0, Colorado, with no one out. San Francisco, with runners on 1st and 2nd, was mounting a threat. Eddie Weiler dug in at the plate, but on a 1-2 slider, he struck out.
