The Charlotte Flight downed the Atlanta Braves, 3-1, at Braves Stadium. Stellar pitching by Erik Sutherland had a lot to do with it. The right-hander handcuffed his opponent all game. Picking up his 3rd save was fan favorite Mike Seals. The Braves drop to 4-7, as their stumbling start to the 2044 season continues.

Zach Kiester had a direct impact on the outcome. Kiester contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put Charlotte up, 2-0.

"It never gets old," said Kiester. "Winning, that is."
