Kish Raps San Antonio for 5 Hits
In a career performance, Wichita Wind Surge left fielder Joe Kish sparkled with the bat at Riverfront Stadium.

Powering his way to a 5-for-5 day at the plate, Kish led the Wind Surge to a nice 14-3 win over the San Antonio Missions. Kish was in high spirits in the clubhouse after the game, joking with reporters that the big game had left him "winded."

"Oh sure, 5 hits sounds great but think about how much more baserunning you have to do," he said with a smile. "Next time, I'm just going to take 5 walks."

Joe Kish singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Jeff Breyer in the 8th.
