Starting pitcher Cameron Washington pitched well enough to help the Boston Red Sox beat the Toronto Blue Jays, 5-3. Washington got the win, improving to 14-7. He gave up 4 hits and walked 1 over 7 innings. He allowed 1 run. The Red Sox have now reeled off 6 straight wins.
