The Charlotte Flight picked up a win at The Big House that Riggle Built, knocking off the Montreal Expos, 3-0. On the mound for Charlotte was right-hander Willie Delgado. He played a key role in the triumph. Delgado, now 8-9, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 4, walking 3, and allowing no runs. Mike McDonald earned the save for Charlotte, his 7th.
