Chicago (A) Tumbles Again, Falls, 4-1, to Seattle
|
Jerry Fulp never let the White Sox get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Mariners to a win, 4-1. The Seattle winning streak has reached 3 games.
Pete Robinson cracked a home run off Josh Cook in the bottom of the sixth. His 3-run blast put the Mariners on top, 4-1. In all, Robinson had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said Chicago (A) manager Nick Carney. "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."
