Houston turned a fine outing from starter Eric Rivera into a victory over the Austin Armadillos at Johnny Dang & Co. Sporting Complex. The final score was 7-2. Houston raised its record to 44-26 with the win.

Eric Englert, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2035 draft, helped out the Houston cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the second baseman went 2 for 4 with a double.

"I'm not out here to win a beauty contest," said Englert. "Obviously."
