Blue Jays Collect 7-3 Win Versus Baltimore
|
The Toronto Blue Jays knocked off the Baltimore Orioles, 7-3, at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Matt Bauer was a big reason Toronto won. The catcher was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Bobby Carlson came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The left-hander allowed no runs on 4 hits in 2.2 innings. His record now stands at 9-4. With the win, Toronto goes to 84-70, while the Orioles fall to 63-90.
In the top of the first, Kevin Lenahan ambushed a full count cutter from Juan Loya and hit a 2-run home run. It gave Toronto a quick 2-0 lead.
"Today was a lot of fun," said Lenahan.
