McFarlane Stars in 12-9 Armadillos Win
The 12-9 Austin win over Minnesota was due largely to Joe McFarlane. The Armadillos right fielder was 2 for 2 with a home run, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. With the win, Austin goes to 33-22, while the Twins fall to 26-30.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the eighth, with the game tied, Danny Henderson was at the plate when Austin scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Armadillos to go in front, 10-9.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said McFarlane.
