The Houston Astros beat the Philadelphia Phillies, 5-4, in part because of designated hitter John Jaha. He was 1 for 2 with 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The third-place Astros have won 4 in a row.
Greg Norton was the walk-off hero for Houston. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Astros pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
