Tuesday, August 13th , 2041
Ed Rollins has been ripping hits every day for a while now, and nobody seems able to stop him. The Atlanta (FCL) third baseman picked up 2 more today against the Baltimore (FCL) Orioles and now has a 33-game hitting streak. The Braves won the game, 27-17.
"Definitely somebody's going to stop me at some point," he said later, chuckling. "I'll enjoy it for the time being." Ed Rollins hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Sesto Miglioli in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, struck out in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and struck out in the 8th.
So far this year, Rollins has 29 home runs and a .353 batting average.
