The performance of Eric Boggs proved critical in helping Cleveland beat Minnesota, 8-7. The Guardians third baseman went 2-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. With the win, Cleveland improves its record to 2-5.

In the bottom of the seventh, the Guardians grabbed the lead when Boggs hit his 3rd home run of the season. The 2-run home run off Zach Pearson made it 8-6, Cleveland.
