The Chicago White Sox got a good effort from starter Eric Arambula in defeating the Texas Rangers at Guaranteed Rate Field. The final score was 3-1. With the win, Chicago raised its record to 70-65.

Mike Story drove in one run for Chicago. The 29-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Chris Tierney. It was his 66th RBI of the season.

"Every loss stings," said Texas manager Damian Mujica. "This one is no exception."
