Cardinals Double Up New York, 4-2
|
St. Louis Cardinals starter Nelson Aguayo found his groove in his team's 4-2 win over the New York Mets. The win puts St. Louis at 15-22.
Arturo Nogales supported the St. Louis cause with two out in the bottom of the sixth. Batting with the bases loaded and St. Louis leading 3-2, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
"I made a lot of good pitches," said Aguayo. "I was right where I wanted to be."
