Ryon Hits for Cycle Against Columbia
It was a quite a day for Chris Ryon at Segra Park.

He hit for the cycle, belting out every kind of hit there is -- a single, double, triple and home run. The Fredericksburg shortstop accomplished the rare feat during his team's 18-13 victory over the Columbia Fireflies.

"I never even thought about hitting for the cycle and what do you know, I did it," he told BNN reporters at the postgame press conference. "The cycle really doesn't matter to me, it's the win that's important."

Ryon went 4-for-5 in the game with 4 RBI and 3 runs scored.

Chris Ryon doubled in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Julio Magallanes in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, walked in the 7th and hit a two-run single in the 8th.

For the year, Ryon is batting .282 with 11 home runs.
