NL Player of the Week Chosen Monday, September 22nd , 2003 At the age of 28, Travis Lee might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The San Diego first baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .556 batting average. For his efforts Lee collected the NL Player of the Week Award. He racked up 15 hits in 27 at-bats, 4 home runs and 9 RBIs last week in 7 games. Thus far this year Lee has hit .284 with 15 home runs and 59 RBIs. |
