Rockies-Athletics Deal: Smith for Alcantara Monday, October 28th , 2019 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Rockies announced today the acquisition of 36-year old minor league RHP Alberto Arias and 23-year old minor league 2B Sergio Alcantara from the Oakland Athletics in exchange for 23-year old minor league RF Pavin Smith. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Rockies, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." |
