Musgrove NL's #1 Pitcher in August Friday, September 1st , 2017 In August Montreal starter Joe Musgrove confused hitters all month long. Last month's NL Pitcher of the Month took home the trophy as he collected a 4-1 record in 6 starts. The 24-year-old Musgrove added 41 strikeouts in 42.1 innings and 12 walks to his season record and compiled a 2.13 ERA. Other clubs hit .182 against him. This year, Musgrove has compiled a 12-7 record with a 3.06 ERA in 29 starts. |
