Baltimore Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
|
The Baltimore Orioles racked up a win at Oriole Park at Camden Yards 1992-2011, bumping off the Minnesota Twins, 4-3. Aaron Sanchez, who started for Baltimore, pitched effectively for his team. The winner was Baltimore reliever Edwin Díaz, now 7-4. The loser was Kyle Crockett. The Orioles sport a record of 54-81.
The decisive blow was delivered by Chad Wallach in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 25-year old left-handed pitcher Kyle Crockett to win the game for Baltimore. The home crowd went nuts.
"I was able to fill up the zone," said Sanchez.
