Cleveland needed the clutch hitting of Andruw Jones to notch the win. The center fielder hammered a solo home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Indians on top, 4-3. For the game, Jones had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"It was a test of wills," said Jake Indians, the Cleveland skipper. "I'm glad we came out of it with a win."
