Sirotka Handcuffs Giants, Cardinals Seize 1-0 Advantage in DS
The St. Louis Cardinals took the first game of the Divisional Series in dramatic fashion today, topping the San Francisco Giants with a ninth-inning, walk-off, 1-0 shutout victory. Cardinals pitcher Mike Sirotka threw 9.0 innings of shutout ball.\n

Scott Rolen was the walk-off hero for St. Louis. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Cardinals third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

Giants manager New Giants did not take questions after the game, telling assembled reporters that he would hold a press conference "if and when we win the World Series."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Busch Stadium 1997-2005 in St. Louis.
