Cleveland Indians starter Jonathan Pettibone worked his magic, to help his team defeat the Minnesota Twins, 5-1. The victory makes Cleveland 11-0, as the team seeks a return to the playoffs in 2019.

Manny Machado had a big 2-run home run for the Indians in the top of the sixth inning. With Cleveland leading 2-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a fastball from Carlos Rodón, who finished 2nd in the AL in strikeouts with 242 in 2017, and punished it. The result was his 3rd home run of the season, which put the Indians on top, 4-0.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Cleveland skipper Jake Indians.
