Red Sox Lose to Orioles, 8-5
|
A 3-RBI performance from Lonnie Chisenhall helped the Baltimore Orioles beat the Boston Red Sox, 8-5. The win brings the Orioles to 7-4, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.
The Orioles got a big boost from designated hitter Kole Calhoun who had a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the first inning off Red Sox hurler Ubaldo Jimenez. It was his 2nd walk of the season and put Baltimore on top, 1-0.
"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Calhoun.
