The New York Mets defeated the St. Louis Cardinals, 10-5 in Game 4 of the Divisional Series today. Making an impact was left fielder Nelson Cruz, who went 5 for 5 with 2 doubles and 3 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The win moves New York into a 2-2 tie with St. Louis in the series.

The Mets took a 8-5 lead in the bottom of the sixth inning. Facing St. Louis hurler Jeanmar Gomez with two outs, Cruz hit a 2-run single.

"We'll hit the hot tub in good spirits tonight," said Cruz.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Shea Stadium 1979-2008 in New York.
