Pirates Heading to League Championship Series
The Pittsburgh Pirates have eliminated the St. Louis Cardinals and are off to the League Championship Series.

Pittsburgh won the final game by a 7-5 score and thus clinched the series 4-1.

"We think this is our year, but we're taking it one game at a time," said Gleyber Torres, who was named series MVP.

For the series, Torres hit .474 with a .545 on-base percentage. He drove in 7 RBI and scored 4 runs.

The Pittsburgh Pirates will play against the Colorado Rockies in the next round. Colorado won their series against the San Francisco Giants 4 games to 1. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
