Almost There: Cleveland On Cusp of LCS Triumph After 6-2 Win
The Cleveland Indians moved to within one game of the World Series, downing the visiting Texas Rangers at Jacobs Field 1994-2014 by a score of 6-2. Indians right-hander Jonathan Pettibone had a strong outing in which he threw 7.0 innings allowing 2 runs. The win gives the Indians a 3-1 advantage in the best-of-7 League Championship Series.

In the bottom of the fourth inning, the Indians grabbed the lead when Dustin Pedroia rapped a two-out home run. Cleveland was trailing 1-0, when Pedroia hit a 3-run home run off Wily Peralta to put his team in front, 3-1.

Pettibone called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Jacobs Field 1994-2014 in Cleveland.
