Rangers Move on to League Championship Series
Jason Heyward said his Texas Rangers simply weren't ready for the season to come to an end.

"We told ourselves we were winning this series no matter what," he said, shortly after being named the Divisional Series MVP, following a 14-3 win at Comerica Park that officially eliminated the Detroit Tigers, 4-1.

Heyward said his team is "confident and ready" for the League Championship Series.

The Texas Rangers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the New York Yankees - Cleveland Indians series. Cleveland leads the series 3 games to 2. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
