Texas Win to Pull Even With Boston
Boston third baseman Adrian Beltre pounded Texas Rangers pitchers at Fenway Park, but it was not enough to keep the Red Sox from falling, 7-5 in Game 4 of the Divisional Series. Beltre was 2 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once, though he couldn't prevent the Red Sox from slipping into a 2-2 tie in the best-of-7 series.

One significant plate appearance for Texas came with one out in the top of the first inning. Rangers third baseman Evan Longoria grounded out, driving in 1 run, which helped his team go on to win.

"It felt like they almost stopped play a couple times, but it just held off," Longoria said of the rain that threatened throughout much of the game. "Not great conditions for playoff baseball."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Fenway Park in Boston.
