Texas catcher Will Smith pounded Cleveland pitchers at Jacobs Field 1994-2014, but it was not enough to keep the Rangers from losing in a walk-off. The Indians fell, 5-4, in Game 2 of the League Championship Series. Smith went 2 for 2 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once, even though the Rangers fell into a 1-1 tie in the best-of-7 series.

A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 2nd and two out in the bottom of the eighth inning. That's when center fielder Kevin Kiermaier hit a run-scoring single. The Indians went on to win.

"It's great when the crowd is energized," Kiermaier said.

Game 3 is scheduled for Saturday at The Ballpark in Arlington 1994-2011.
