Orioles Deal Mariners 8-4 Loss
|
Neil Walker helped his team muscle past the Seattle Mariners, 8-4. In the game, the Baltimore second baseman went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Baltimore, at 51-59, holds down third place in the AL East Division.
José Abreu dealt the Mariners a blow in the top of the sixth. Batting with the bases loaded and Baltimore leading 5-4, Abreu, the 15th overall pick in the 2013 draft, hit a 3-1 fastball for a run-scoring single.
"Feels good to get the job done," Abreu said after the game.
