Pivotal Game 5 Goes to Host Brewers, 4-0
|
In a pivotal Game 5, the Milwaukee Brewers were hoping for a big game from starter Erik Bedard. They got one.
The left-hander shut out the Los Angeles Dodgers, proving to be the difference-maker as he led his club to a 4-0 victory. The Brewers took the 4-0 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers to seize a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 series.
Los Angeles could barely put a dent in Bedard. The left-hander tossed 100 pitches over 9 innings for the Brewers, allowing only 2 hits.
"I made some pitches when I had to," said Bedard.
Game 6 is scheduled for Tuesday at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.
