Atlanta Takes Wild Card Series in Deciding Game
The Atlanta Braves and San Francisco Giants didn't hold back anything in the Wild Card Series, with each team pulling out all the stops in an effort to advance to the Divisional Series.

Atlanta won the final game by a score of 8-7 at Turner Field 1997-2016 and that concluded the series, 4-3.

"Relief is the biggest thing," Atlanta catcher Brian McCann said when asked how he felt. "It's a grind both mentally and physically to have a long series like this, but our guys stuck with it and San Francisco deserves credit for the hard fight."

McCann paced the Atlanta offence and earned MVP honors. For the series, he hit .444 with a .515 on-base percentage, 2 home runs, 4 RBI and scored 5 runs.

The Atlanta Braves will play against the Chicago Cubs in the next round. Chicago won their series against the Los Angeles Dodgers 4 games to 1. The Divisional Series schedule will be announced after the Wild Card Series finishes.
